Jelena is a Latvian-born artist currently based in Northern Ireland. She works primarily with acrylics and mixed media, with a strong focus on texture, movement, and energetic expression. Her practice is deeply influenced by themes of inner transformation, trust, and the relationship between strength and surrender.
Jelena previously worked as an art teacher and has participated in multiple group exhibitions across Northern Ireland, as well as a solo exhibition in Latvia. Her work often explores the unseen layers of human experience, combining intuitive processes with material depth. Alongside her visual practice, she draws inspiration from her background in energy work and astrology, which inform the emotional and symbolic language of her paintings.
